The MPIL Legal Database for Iraq contains Iraqi constitutions, legislation, court decisions and other legal documents compiled by the MPIL. It is aimed at providing the legal practitioner with an easy access to Iraqi legal materials. In particular its goal is to make these materials available in the English language. This site is available only in English. Legal texts are posted in the Arabic original and its English translation. Translations produced by the MPIL are verified by lawyers of the MPIL. Inaccuracies of the translation may remain. The MPIL disclaims all liability for the accuracy of the following documents and translations.
