Academic Career until 2016

2014-2016: Senior Research Fellow at the MPIL Heidelberg.

2014 until 2015: Researcher in legal history and international law to Leuven University (Belgium).

Doctoral candidate in legal history and international law, PhD project on territorial acquisition in international law within the context of the partition of Africa at the end of the 19th century, thesis in 2014 (The Aquisition of Africa (1870-1914)).

2013-2014: Visiting Scholar at the Lauterpacht Centre of International Law, Cambridge; South African Research Chair for Property Law, Stellenbosch University, and at the MPIL Heidelberg.

2010: Research Master in Law degree at the Law School of Tilburg University (The Netherlands), with specializations in international law and legal history.
