This bibliographic database references all kinds of media of  libraries in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Saxony, Saarland, and Rhineland-Palatinate.

This bibliographic database references all kinds of media of more than 1200 libraries in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Saxony, Saarland, and Rhineland-Palatinate. It contains 71,6 million holding records for about 23,4 million titles of mainly scientific literature. These comprise 2.4 million holding records of 514.000 journals. (State of July 2016).


KVK - Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog

Book search interface for more than hundreds of million books and serials in library and book trade catalogs worldwide.

A search engine that enables to search some hundred million of books, journals and other media in library catalogues and book shops worldwide.

The search criteria is send to several library catalogues. Their hitlists are dropped in particular lists.


Common Union Catalogue (GVK)

The Common Union Catalogue (GVK) covers the holdings of over 65 million records of books, conference proceedings, periodicals, dissertations, microfilms and electronic resources of more than 1,000 member libraries GBV and the SWB.
Access is free of charge.
