Nacht der Forschung/European Researchers' Night

For the first time this year, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law is participating as an event partner in the European Researchers' Night Heidelberg I Mannheim. On Friday, 27 September 2019, numerous scientific and cultural institutions in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Eppelheim will provide insights into their diverse and exciting research activities until late into the night. The Heidelberg I Mannheim European Researchers' Night is part of the EU-funded European Researchers' Night, which takes place simultaneously at over 300 locations throughout Europe.

Our institute will open its doors on Friday, September 27, 2019, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

At 6 p.m. and 6.30 p.m., guided tours will take place in our library, which is the largest specialist library in Europe in our fields of research and, in these fields, one of the most outstanding institutions in the world. Throughout the evening, an exhibition on the history of the Max Planck Society and a small cinema programme showing our research in portraits, interviews and documentaries in moving images can be visited.

The physical well-being of our guests will also be catered for with a small selection of food and drinks.

The highlight of the evening will be a panel discussion from 7 pm to 8.30 pm, room 038:

Was Europa ausmacht: Werte, Strategien, Risiken
