Rishika Pardikar (India) is a freelance journalist writing for publications in India and internationally (Mongabay, The Wire, Foreign Policy, The Guardian, Sojourners). Most recently, she was a fellow with the Earth Journalism Network, reporting from the UN-Climate Summit in Glasgow (COP26). Ms. Pardikar visited the institute for a period of three months from May to July to conduct research on rights-based climate change and biodiversity litigation. A first article on the use of investor-state dispute settlement mechanisms by fossil fuel companies, produced as part of her research at MPIL was recently published by the investigative news outlet, The Lever.
