Course Content

The course covered the sources of American law and English law and a number of substantive areas of English law, including:

- Criminal law (focusing on homicide offences);

- Tort law (focusing on the tort of negligence); and

- Property law (focusing on legal interests in land and their transfer).

 

Assessment

Assessment tasks included class participation, online quizzes, and presentation of a case summary.
